Matthew S. Bryington, DMD, MS, FACP

Dr. Matthew Bryington was introduced to dentistry at a young age growing up in his father’s dental practice. Matthew attended Emory University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology and graduated summa cum laude. He received a Dean’s Scholarship to obtain his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania. While in dental school, Dr. Bryington displayed a particular interest in prosthodontics.

Dr. Bryington received his prosthodontics training from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Upon completing his training at UNC, Dr. Bryington joined the faculty of The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. To expand his knowledge of dental implants, Dr. Bryington was awarded a one-year fellowship with the prestigious International Team for Implant Dentistry (I.T.I.) in Malmö, Sweden. Returning to the United States, Dr. Bryington continued in dental education at West Virginia University School of Dentistry, rising to the rank of Clinical Associate Professor and Program Director of the Graduate Prosthodontics Residency, responsible for training new Prosthodontists. Dr. Bryington left WVU in 2020 to complete his dream of practicing dentistry with his father.

Dr. Bryington is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics (Board Certified Prosthodontist) and a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists.
